Form Submission: Participation Entry

The State Council of China most recently announced an unprecedented plan to develop “zero-waste cities”. The management of municipal solid waste (MSW), the quantities of which have been soaring driven by rapid urbanization and economic growth, makes a critical factor for achieving the “zero waste” ambition. We will present our latest empirical findings on the progress, patterns, and projections of the development of MSW management facilities, and discuss the implications for the new government initiative.
